We had a really great stay here during our Easter Holidays.
Of course we didn’t miss Las Sauch. Very Impressive. And we enjoyed the summer-like weather hiking in the mountains around Canigou and along the Vermeille coastline. Perpignan is an ideal starting point for lots of sightseeing highlights. And a real place of vivid bien in the French-Catalonian mixture.
We felt at once home in the very practical and tasteful equipped apartment.
Thanks a lot for the hospitality and the heartfelt welcoming.

Wonderful apartment in a wonderful location.
Downstairs @ No 5 they have local beers.
Happy has crepes.
Le Divil, good steaks but overpriced.
Bar and Britz for sport on TV.
Cafe Vienne had a good set menu and wished we hadn’t.
La Suite - beautiful food. Very quaint.
L’Arganier - Moroccan food to die for.
Le 17 - O.M.G. Only the best meal ever.
Day trip to Collioure. What a wonderful day. Walked 9 miles and lunched at L’Insolite which was lovely.
On our last day we had lunch at Le Barathym which was outstanding.
Do not be put off by what the outside of places looks like, the insides are done out in a very ‘arty’ fashion.
Will recommend this apartment and Perpignan as it was the Perfect Place for our early year break. Temps were up to 22º, just right.
Thank you Val and Geoff, Tim and Olga.
Time to go home and see what our 17yr old has been up to.

Thank you so much, Valerie and Geoffrey - what a wonderful few days, just one problem, we didn’t have enough time here!
Had a great day out at Arles sur Tech (Gorges and L’Abbaye) - the Abbey is only open Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat. 10-12 noon and Ceret (Art Gallery) and then had wonderful sunshine at Collioure and Elne (yes had a drink at Carasol Hotel on the terrace with wonderful view. Thanks for all your suggestions and providential help with the car park (are you psychic, Valerie?) Thanks to Olga and Tim for their friendly initial help and to Christina for suggesting this wonderful location.
Best wishes to all, Pippa and Tony Worth
Our Stay 30-7-2016 to 13-8-2016
The apartment great location perfect for parking, restaurants, entertainment, beaches etc. We loved the nearby beaches we recommend Collioure, Narbonne and Canet. We found the apartment very comfortable. If you have children the back bedroom is quieter as the restaurants set up in the square early. We had a wonderful stay in France.
Thank you Valerie and Geoffrey.

February 8 – April 5 2014
After our short stay in Apr/May 2013, we came back for two months, and have had a wonderful time. We feel very lucky to have gotten to know Perpignan & the P-O, and it almost feels like home – not least because the apartment is so comfortable and the location & view just perfect.
We will miss the market, local shops and cavistes, and also the cafés in the Place de la République – especially the Cinq & the young couple who run it.
Had some great meals at “le 17”, Les Frères Mossé and the Regent Grill below.
We’ve also made some good friends, whom we’ll miss. We are already thinking of our next trip here.
Many thanks to Valerie and Geoff Hoyle who were so welcoming and helpful.

January 9 – 27 2014
Sadly the end of another holiday with this lovely apartment as our base. All we said before still applies. It now feels like coming home!!
This time we had a trip on the CG66 bus for 1 euro each, each way to Font Romeu, a ski resort in the mountains. The trip alone is highly recommended for the diverse scenery, - another contrast is the weather – 16C in Perpignan, -1C & much snow in Font Romeu. Lunch in La Ferme des Closes is also highly recommended – all bio & the plat was excellent. A bio shop with meat, cheese, wine and chocolates at the front with restaurant at the back. Just another different perspective on this beautiful area.
In the mild and sunny weather, 23C in Canet on 18 Jan we enjoyed trips to the coast.
Thanks again Val & Geoff, hope to see you again soon.

Visa Pour L’Image
The flat was amazing. We are right in the centre of town with everything one could want close by. Great restaurants, shops and sights wherever you turn. We ventured out to the countryside and the beaches in Collioure. Visa is always a pleasure to be part of and we are looking forward to next year.
Perpignan rocks. Bravo.

24 – 31 August 2013
We have enjoyed our stay in Perpignan. The apartment had everything we needed. The central location made it easy to get around without getting too lost. The boys went busking with their bagpipes and entertained the locals and other tourists. Eating out was reasonable but the roast chicken and potatoes from a wee shop was definitely a favourite lunch.
During our stay we used the train and visited Banyuls-sur-Mer, Collioue and Narbonne. Narbonne, well worth a visit.
Thanks for making our last family holiday superb.

August 3 – 10 2013
As so many others we have enjoyed a very nice week in this apartment, which we found very nice, comfortable, tidy and well positioned – clearly recommendable.
For us we found a nice beach at Toreilles- Plage, very sandy and not completely crowded (though this is surely relative in August).
We can very much recommend trips to the mountains, where we climbed Pic de Bugarech, visited St Martin de Canigou and Chateau de Peyrepeteuse (my favourite, breathtaking in many ???? – I have never seen a castle on rocks so steep, great views, falconry show) and swam in Gorges de Galamus at Moulin de Ribaute – great.
Thank you very much and all the best
July 10 – 27 2013
We had 2 wonderful weeks in Perpignan.
The apartment is very nice and nothing was missing. The central location is perfect. A car is not really necessary. The weather was fantastic, we were much on the beaches of the environment. The distance to the Cap Cerbere is worth a trip, you will be rewarded with beautiful views.
Perpignan also offers much of note. We have not done everything, so we will definitely be back.

Our Perpignan apartment lies in the centre of the old town, in an historic building with fine views over the spacious Place de la Republique. The building was completely renovated in 2007 shortly after the refurbishment of the square into a large open pedestrian space. The square plays host to a daily (except Monday) market and stages many live concerts and spectacles throughout the year. Locals and visitors alike congregate to shop or relax in the many cafes throughout the year.
Our Perpignan apartment is located on the 2nd floor of number 5, next to the Municipal Theatre. It has a large living room overlooking the square with dining area and fully equipped open plan kitchen. It sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms and there is a modern fully tiled shower room. More
